Davide G. A. Papa is an import export intermediary expert with over two decades of experience. Under the name FTN exporting, Davide Papa is one of the leading experts in his field. Why? Because after initial four years of using commonly touted ’standard’ techniques such as LOI’s BCL’s POP’s NCNDA’s and MPA’s, Davide decided that there must be a better way of conducting international trading. He spent the following 7 years perfecting his intermediary commodity trading platform and developed it into science.

He learned the ins and outs of international trade the hard way, through years of trial and error. In 1994 an editorial was published in a popular Australian newspaper regarding a multi million sugar contract FTN exporting had secured. It was then that the enquiries began to quite literally flood in. Davide realized that vast majority of the so called “intermediaries” or “agents” had virtually no idea what they were doing.

Until recently very few publications dealt with International trading. All the books on international commodity trading and commodity markets were geared towards large corporate purchasing or export managers. There was no guidance for private international Intermediaries, Traders or Brokers. They had to individually learn a complex systems of application including the highest levels of International law and finance. Those without experienced mentors in the industry were utterly lost.

It was then that Davide Papa began offering his services as a mentor to intermediaries. He has published several books on the subject, the most recent of which is due to be released in 2009.
